31 March 2017 – Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda ends PH Chairship of ACTH today, 31 March 2017. During its meeting on 30 March, Ambassador Ledda discussed the various activities by ACTH on the occasion of ASEAN’s 50 years anniversary and 40 years of ASEAN-EU relations. These include a sportsfest in May; a business forum in August; an ASEAN Food Zone in September and an ASEAN Film Festival in November. In its efforts to increase awareness about ASEAN among local stakeholders from government, international organizations and business sectors, Ambassador Ledda indicated the group’s upcoming meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders in mid-April; its statement on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Chemical Weapons Convention and meetings and calls on Damen Shipyards; VNO, Dutch Employers Association and Unilever, including proposed visits to universities in Leiden, Wageningen and Groningen.
