The National Quincentennial Committee's online lecture series aims to diversify discussions about the 500th anniversary of the Victory of Mactan, the Philippine part in the first circumnavigation of the world, and other related events in 1521, collectively known as the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines (2021 QCP) per Executive Order No. 103 (2020).
The lecture is in commemoration of 142nd birth anniversary of President Manuel Quezon and History Month, and is part of the online live lecture series spearheaded by the National Quincentennial Committee (NQC) and the Office of Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda.
