The Embassy is pleased to have received the visit of Ms. Nida Olthof-Sicat of Nida Philippine Products (nidaphilippinesproducts.com) who presented their increasing array of delicious Filipino food products which are available at select tokos (groceries) in The Netherlands and other European countries.

Among the Nida Products favorites are breakfast fares longganisa (sausage), tocino (Filipino-style bacon) and hotdog as well as crispy pata (crispy pork knuckles), meatloaf and holiday ham.

Ms. Nida was accompanied during the visit by her husband Mr. Jelle Olthof and community leader Ms. Agnes van Beek-Pavia.

Established in August 2017, the business started from Ms. Nida’s home-made recipe in their residence in Dordrecht. Her goal is to share with the Filipino-European community their best-tasting chicken and pork longganisa, chicken and pork tocino and cheese hotdogs. It is their company’s pride to provide high quality artisanal products for everyone to enjoy. 

Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya commended Ms. Nida for her entrepreneurship and promotion of Philippine cuisine and culture. 

The company has expanded, and its network of customers include those in France, Italy, Norway, and other European countries.
