The Philippine Embassy wishes to congratulate the Media Correspondent Volunteers Organization, Inc. (MCVO) – Netherlands Chapter on the renewal of their contract with the ROS Stichting on the provision of financial assistance to undocumented individuals who wish to voluntarily return home.
Signatories were Mr. Bhong David, MCVO Founder, and Ms. Kim Op Het Veld of the ROS Stichting. Also present were MCVO’s Mr. Tony Perez (President) and Ms. Liberty Asis Aquino (Secretary) and ROS Stichting’s Mr. Harm Haverman.
Through the agreement, which runs up to 3 years, the MCVO will assist the ROS Stichting in providing financial assistance to undocumented individuals who will voluntarily return home, including setting up their small-scale businesses, through the MCVO chapters in the Philippines.
Established in 2012, ROS Stichting has assisted some 300 undocumented foreign nationals in their voluntary country return program. The foundation likewise provides legal assistance to obtain residence permit, access to medical care and free Dutch lessons at different levels.
