The Dutch people have new opportunity to sample Filipino cuisine with the opening of the Chibog Oriental Fusion in Haarlem.
Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya visited the Chibog Oriental Fusion Cuisine in Haarlem on 24 April 2022.
Chibog, which opened to the public in February 2022, offers a variety of Filipino meals, including “adobong baboy” (stewed pork belly) and “afritadang baka” (beef afritada), and snacks and bubble tea beverages for take away. The shop also sells Filipino and Asian frozen and processed foods, condiments, and beverages.
Chibog is owned and managed by Ms. Eva Pulido Motevasly, together with husband Mr. Ramin Motevasly.
The food business is a dream come true for Ms. Motevasly. She experiments with many cuisines and does her own version. She has big plans and is hopeful on capturing an even bigger market while committed to offering good value for money.
The shop’s façade and cool ambience provide a welcome feeling to shoppers and guests.
