On RT-PCR testing for DFA-Chartered Repatriation Flights

15 June 2021 - The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform all Filipinos in the Netherlands that, in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all Filipinos who are joining any DFA-chartered mass repatriation flights are required to present negative RT-PCR test results taken no later than 48 hours prior to boarding the flight.

This measure also aims to add additional protection to all repatriates, who are on board the repatriation flights and to ensure that they are COVID-19 free upon entering the Philippines (END).

Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya visited the Philippine Consulate General in Rotterdam on 02 June 2021 and was briefed by Consul General ad honorem Albert Bos on the programs and activities of the Consulate.

Consul General Bos is also Director of the STC Group International. The STC Group provides education, training, consultancy and research for the maritime and offshore, port and terminals, and transport and logistics industries in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

STC International manages a nautical training center in Palompon, Leyte, the Netherlands Shipping Training Center (https://www.nstc.ph/). The Center provides maritime courses and practical nautical training in accordance with the guidelines of the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Convention, and supplies the Dutch shipping industry with hundreds of trained Filipino seafarers each year.
